Ivan A. Peterson

Ivan Allen Peterson 83, of Bartlesville died 9:28 p.m. Friday at the Jane 
Phillips Medical Center. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. 
Tuesday at the East Cross United Methodist Church with Dr. David George 
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral 
Home. Ivan was born August 21, 1919 in Vesta, NE. to Paul Samuel and 
Bessie Sarah (Clark) Peterson. He married Nelda Lynch February 10,1945 in 
Tecumseh, NE.. Ivan was a chemical engineer for Phillips Petroleum Company 
for over 40 years. He worked in various plants for Phillips including 
England and Kuwait. Ivan was very interested in the safety of the children 
at Hoover school He was a member of the East Cross United Methodist Church 
in Bartlesville. Ivan is survived by his wife Nelda of the home, 1 
daughter, Elizabeth Schuble of Bartlesville, 1 son, Roger and his wife 
Sharon Peterson of Houston, TX., 1 brother, Clark Peterson of Sacramento, 
CA., and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul 
and Bessie Peterson and 1 brother, Kenneth Peterson.
