Rachel L. Patterson

Rachel LeeAnne Patterson, 8, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on 
Friday, January 17, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa due to 
complications from Sickle Cell Anemia.

Memorial services will be held in Bartlesville at Woodrow Wilson 
Elementary Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Woodrow Wilson Elementary 
School, 245 N.E. Spruce, Bartlesville, OK 74006.

Funeral services will be held in McAlester, Oklahoma at St. John's 
Catholic Church, Friday, January 24, 2003 at 2:00pm. Father Leo Ahanotu 
will officiate. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the 
direction of New Dyer Memorial Chapel.

Born October 14, 1994 in Bartlesville, to Douglass and Teresa Patterson. 
She was in second grade at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School. She loved 
swimming, dancing, and singing. She enjoyed so many summer days at the 
Kiddie Park. She enjoyed going to school, playing with her friends, and 
swinging on the tire swing.

Survivors include her parents, Douglass and Teresa Patterson of 
Bartlesville; her younger brother Lathan; two grandmothers, Corine Jones, 
of McAlester; Maybelle Patterson, of McAlester; a great-grandmother, Ruth 
A. Jones, of McAlester; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
