Memorial services will be 2 p.m.,Saturday in the Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev.Joe Fowler officiating.Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Mrs. Pyle was born Dec.3,1903,in Mountain Park to Marcelus Wood and Minnie (Logan) Moore.She grew up and received her education in the Tulsa area.She married C.R. Pyle in 1925 in Tulsa.They made their home in various locations following Mr.Pyle's work in the oil field.Mr.Pyle preceded her in death in 1952 and she moved to Bartlesville to make her home.She was later employed as a nurse's aide with Jane Phillips Geriatric's until her retirement in 1968 and she has continued to make her home here since that time.She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters,Nancy L.George and Susanne J.Sanders,both of Bartlesville,a step-daughter,Saralee Shrum of Bartlesville,a sister,Sarah Jane Pinsker of Petaluma,Calif.,two granddaughters,Terry Sealock and Jennifer Shrum,six grandsons,David L.Sanders,Michael R.Smith,Clayton R.Smith,Richard C.Smith,Anthony P.Showalter and David Shrum and five-great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Washington County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/washington/washington.html
