Pauline Pariato Mrs. V. Pauline (Morgan) Parlato, 87, Bartlesville resident and retired Jane Phillips Episcopal Memorial Hospital employee died at 1:48 a.m. on Wednesday in the local medical center. Funeral services for Mrs. Parlato will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at the graveside in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. James R. Wood will be the officient. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Memorial Park Cemetery by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Mrs. Parlato will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of the Anold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for their visitation until she is removed for final rites on Friday afternoon. A native of Washington County, Virginia Pauline was born May 14, 1919 in Dewey. She was the daughter of Margil O. Morgan and Mary Ellen "Mamie" (Green) Morgan. She was reared and began her education in Dewey and in 1933 she moved to Humble, Texas where completed her education and was graduated frm the Humble High School with the Senior class of 1937. She began her employment with the Humble Telephone company as office manager. Pauline and Julius Cecil Duty were married April 22, 1939 in Humble and continued their home there. In 1940, she moved to Long Beach, California with her brother and family and bagan her emplayment with Douglas Aircraft. On November 2, 1941 she and Mr. Alden F. Trapp were married in Long Beach. She continued her employment with douglas Aircraft and later joined the State of California as Personnel Assistant for Department of Employment. Mr. Trapp prededed her in death. Pauline Trapp and Jerardo "Jerry" Parlato were married on August 6, 1966 in Long Beach and continued their home there. Pauline returned to Bartlesville in 1974 and began her employment with Jane Phillips Episcopal Memorial Hospital in medical records, remaining for ten years and was retired in 1984. She has since made her home here living in retirement. Surviving Mrs. Parlato and her sister, Mrs. Vivian M. Smith, Bartlesville; two nieces, Ms. Nancy J. Smith, Bartlesville and Jean E. Smith, Dallas, Texas; her nephew, Nargil Leon Morgan, Jr., California; a great niece and nephew Meredith Morgan Sanders-Smith, Dallas, Texas and Jeffery Morgan, California. she was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother, Margil Leon Morgan, Sr. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Washington County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/washington/washington.html
