Reidy from 4-28-2003 Examiner Enterprise Mrs. Eileen Patricia "Pat" (O'Flaherty) Reidy, 92, a Bartlesville resident since 1977, died at the family residence on Friday afternoon in Bartlesville. A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in the Memory Chapel of The Arnold Moore Funeral Residence. The Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning in St. James Catholic Church. Father William "Bill" Skeehan will be the officiant. Private family dedication of the grave, committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Calvary Cemetery, Tulsa, Okla. by The Arnold Funeral Service. Memorials in Mrs. Reidy's name have been established to the Mary Martha Outreach at 417 SW 8th, Bartlesville, Okla. 74003 and Catholic Charities. A native of Pennsylvania, Eileen Patricia O'Flaherty was born in Franklin on October 12, 1910. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Rachel (McMillan) O'Flaherty. "Pat" was reared and received her education in the Oil City, Pennsylvania community and was graduated in 1928 from the Oil City High School. She attended the Seton Hill College from 1928 to 1932 and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in language and education. She was employed by the Chic Shop in Oil City until her marriage to Martin J. Reidy, also of Oil City, at Notre Dame University on September 17, 1935. She and Martin moved to Tulsa following their marriage where Martin was an employee of the Sinclair Refining Company. Eileen was a homemaker until the mid 1960's when she taught elementary school for a 15 year period which included St. Pius in Tulsa and schools in Birmingham, Michigan. Martin preceded her in death in 1969. She moved to Bartlesville in 1977 where her oldest daughter, Mary, had a medical lab. Pat was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Bartlesville. Surviving are eight children, Dr. James Reidy and Dorothy, Oxford, Mississippi, Martin and Helen Reidy, Joseph Reidy, and Michael Reidy all of Tulsa, Okla., Frank and Louise Reidy, Patrick Reidy, all of Bartlesville, Okla.; Elizabeth "Liz" and Warren Roberts, Muskogee, Okla. and Patricia Reidy, Laurel, Maryland; 16 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
