[sic; no middle name] REYNOLDS, 68, 138 NE Queenstown, and resident of Bartlesville since 1951 died 11:45 p.m. on Thursday at his home following several weeks illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Arnold Moore Funeral Chapel. Rev. James Pyle of Tulsa will officiate, and interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery. Mr. [William] REYNOLDS was born at Huntsville, Ark., on Aug. 15, 1897, [son of Allison David and Sarah Tennessee HARWOOD REYNOLDS,] and when a small child came with his family to Indian Territory. The family established its first home on a farm near White Field, where he was reared and remained a resident until 1943. He was married to Miss Vida Ethel JIMISON, Oct. 26, 1917 at Muskogee, and they farmed and made their home at Briar Town, near Muskogee, until they moved to California in 1943. They returned to Briar Town in 1948 for a three year residence and came to Bartlesville in 1951. He was employed with the Joy Equipment Co., here until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Vida, of the home here; one daughter, Mrs. Herschell H. [Billie Jean] HAMILTON; 138 NE Queenstown, Bartlesville; one son Carl V. ["Pete"] REYNOLDS, 301 NE Katherine; two brothers, Walter REYNOLDS, Soledad, Calif., and John REYNOLDS, Dayton, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Grace POMROY, Elizabeth, W. Va.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
