Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Boxwell Bothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Perry Hunsaker, associate pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. Schaefer was born in Rapid City, S.D., and had been a resident of Amarillo for a year and a half. He was a plant operator in the construction industry. Survivors include his wife, Shannon; three sons, Michael Schaefer and Harrison Schaefer, both of Lubbock, and James Argo of Amarillo; a daughter, Shasta Fraser of Amarillo; his father, Harold Dean Schaefer of Bartlesville, Okla.; two brothers, Brian Schaefer of Wimberly and Steve Schaefer of Tallmadge, Ohio; and his grandmother, Velta Schaefer.
