Dorothy Setser, 77, of Bartlesville, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday at the 
Bartlesville Care Center.

Services are pending with Stumpff Funeral Home.

Dorothy Setser

Mrs. Dorothy Setser, 77, of Bartlesville, died at 8:10 A.M. Tuesday at the 
Bartlesville Care Center.

Funeral services for Mrs. Setser will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the 
Stumpff Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Gott, Chaplain of Cornerstone 
Hospice officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under 
the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established to Cornerstone Hospice, 3414 S.E. 
Kentucky, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.

Mrs. Setser was born on October 24, 1925 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She 
grew up and attended schools in Arkansas and Texas Women's College in 
Denton, Texas. She was married to G. Lewis Setser on March 7, 1947 in 
Hiawatha, Kansas. They made their home in Sabetha, Kansas where Mr. Setser 
was employed at a dairy and later had his own accounting office. Mr. 
Setser was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company in 1956 and they made 
their homes in Bartlesville, Calgary, Alberta, Oklahoma City, Lagos, 
Nigeria and Bogata, Columbia. They returned to Bartlesville 1970. Mr. 
Setser preceded her in death on April 4, 1987. Mrs. Setser was employed as 
a staffing administrator at the Jane Phillips Hospital from 1972 until 
1988.

Mrs. Setser is survived by three sons, Robert Allison and his wife, 
Rosemary of Washington State, Rick Setser of Houston, Texas, and Steve 
Setser of Seattle, Washington, one granddaughter, Brenda Greer and her 
husband, Les, of Billingham, Washington and two great granddaughters, 
Megan and Emily Greer.
