A viewing will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Then a funeral service will be held on March 01, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel. Father Liam Cary of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating. Cleo was born on October 10, 1933 in Bartlesville, OK, to Cleo and Isabella Statham (deceased.) He lived in San Jose, CA until 1999 when he moved to the Rogue Valley. He married Gloria Mae Gourneau (survives) on July 9th, 1955 in Belcourt, ND. Cleo was a machinist/lathe operator in Mt. View, CA. He was a pilot and enjoyed flying his own private airplane, as well as remote control model airplanes, fishing, billiards, camping, boating, and was a member of the Moose Lodge in San Jose, CA. Survivors include his sons, David Statham and Ron Statham of Medford, OR; his daughters, Debbie Nunes of Medford, OR, Cindy Vieira of Grants Pass, OR, and Colleen Brandau of Los Banos, CA; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
