Ron Stringer

Ron Stringer, 63 of Fayetteville died Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at his home. 
He was born February 8, 1940 to the late Walter and Lydia Bixler Stringer 
in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

He was a retired Title XX supervisor for the State of Arkansas with 25 
years service. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne Fare Stringer 
in 1975.

Survivors include; daughter and husband, Rene and Robert Whitmore of 
Fayetteville; brother and wife, Bob and Margaret Stringer of Bella Vista, 
AR; sister, Evelyn Stringer of Owasso, OK; sister and husband, Carolyn and 
Lowell French of Bartlesville, OK; sister and husband, Pat and Wesley 
Cleveland of Dewey, OK; 2 granddaughters, Heather and Jennifer Stringer of 
Fayetteville and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Beard's Chapel from 5 to 7pm on 
Thursday, April 10, 2003.

Pallbearers will be Brian French, David Cleveland, Ken Brown, Mike Sims, 
Bruce Alquist, and Tim Crain.

Funeral service will be Friday, April 11, 2003, 11:00a.m. at Beard's 
Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville with Pastor James Goff officiating. Burial 
will be in Fairview Memorials Gardens Cemetery.

The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to 
Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice, 34 W Colt Square Dr. Suite 1, 
Fayetteville, 72703.
