All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Washington COUNTIAN DEWEY,OKLAHOMA,TYESDAY DEC.22,1945 pg.1 Mrs, Maggie Shull, 87, who has been a resident of Dewey for the past 35 years was found dead in her bed at her home about noon last Tuesday. It had been her habit of sleeping late in the morning but when she failed to appear at her usual time, she son went to her room and found her dead. She was believed to have died in her sleep during the night. Mrs. Shull who was affectionately known as "Grandma" Shull to her many friends in Dewey, was a preacher in the Church of God for 55 years before ill health forced her to retire from active duty a few years ago. Her survivors are two sons, Hala W. Shull and John W. Shull both of Dewey, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grand children and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Shull were held last Saturday afternoon at the Church of God at 10th and Creek which she organized a number of years ago. The services were in charge of Rev. Mrs. C.
