Karen Sue Johnson Selby, 57, of Nowata, died Wednesday morning in the 
Nowata Nursing Center.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hillside Christian Church in Nowata. Ben 
Killion and David Mabon will officiate. Interment will be in Nowata 
Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of 
Nowata.

Memorials may be made to the Jane Phillips Hospice at 219 N. Virginia in 
Bartlesville, OK 74006, or 10-33 Emergency Team at 321 E. Cherokee in 
Nowata, OK 74048.

Survivors include her stepmother, Sue Johnson, of Bartlesville; three 
stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, Mike and Linda of Copan, Larry and 
Mary of Bartlesville and Tom of Yukon; three grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Henry Johnson of Nowata and Richard 
Lee Johnson; a sister, Bonnie Lou Workman, of Nowata; a stepbrother, Chuck 
Hall, of Bartlesville; a stepsister, Linda McDaniel, of Colorado Springs, 
Colo.; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-
nephews.
