Deloris A. Sims

Deloris A. Sims 71, of Bartlesville died 10:45 a.m. Monday at her 
residence. Services will be held Thursday 10:00 am. at the Church of Jesus 
Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Matt Coffman presiding. Interment 
will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends at 
the funeral home Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Arrangements are under 
the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Deloris was born March 10, 
1932 to William Perry and Ethel (Maness) Furnell in Hughesville, Missouri. 
She married Niles Sims on December 1, 1956. They moved to Bartlesville in 
1972. Deloris was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of 
Latter-day Saints. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, active 
grandmother and faithful friend. She is survived by her husband, David 
Niles Sims of Bartlesville, 1 son David Sims and his wife Lesta of Kansas 
City, 2 daughters Lori Hartzfeld and her husband Jeff of Bartlesville and 
Angela McClintock and her husband Todd of Bartlesville. A sister Juanita 
Waggoner of Sedalia, MO and a brother Larry Furnell of Smithton, MO. She 
has nine grandchildren, Wesley, Nicole, Dallin, and Graham Sims of Kansas 
City and Taylor, Nina, Haley and Garrett Hartzfeld and Madison McClintock 
of Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and 
Ethel Furnell, 4 brothers, Bill, Joe, Ike and Bobbie Furnell and 2 
sisters, Lydia McGaugh and Idella Cook. The family requests that memorial 
donations be made to Jane Phillips Hospice 219 N. Viginia Bartlesville, OK 
74003.
