Sears Mrs. Edna D. Sears, 86, of Dewey, died at 4:41 P.M. Sunday at the Medicalodge of Dewey. Graveside services for Mrs. Sears will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Dewey Cemetery Pavilion. Following the graveside services, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Gilbert Becker officiating. Memorial services and interment are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. A memorial has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the High Plains Childrens Home, P.O. Box 7448, Amarillo, Texas 79114. Mrs. Sears was born on July 3, 1916 at Fairmont, Oklahoma to Frederick and Dora (Heilberg) Riekenberg. She was reared and received her education in the Fairmont community. She was married on December 25, 1938 to Thomas E. Sears. They made their home in Bartlesville until moving to Dewey in 1956. Mr. Sears preceded her in death on November 18, 1976. Mrs. Sears is survived by one son, Stanley T. Sears and daughter-in-law, Debbie Ann Sears of Grapevine, Texas, two grandchildren, Thomas M. Sears and Kristin Higgins and her husband, Christopher, and two great grandchildren, Makayla Higgins and Britlyn Higgins and a multitude of friends and family.
