View/Sign Guest Book FORSYTH - Delores F. Storm passed away at Rosebud Health Care Center where she had lived for the past seven years. She was born in Dewey, Okla., on June 4, 1921, the daughter of Roy A. and Bertha (Bellemeyer) Hays. She grew up in Denver, Colo., and graduated from South High School. She met Bill Storm and they were married in Seattle, Wash., on Feb. 14, 1945. They moved to Forsyth and lived in various houses until 1955 when they built their home on North Eighth Street. Dee was very proud of the fact that she did all the finish work on the floors and woodwork of their home. Over the years, Dee worked for the Forsyth Independent, the county appraiser's office, Action for Eastern Montana and the Rosebud County Fair Board, among other jobs. She opened her home to several high school girls and others who needed a place to live. She received the "Senior Citizen of the Year" award in 1998. She was a member of the Yellowstone Ostomy Association and Concordia Lutheran Church where she was Baptized and Confirmed on April 14, 1960. She was an active member of the Concordia Ladies Guild, the LWML and taught Sunday School for many years. She went out of her way to help others and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Bertha and Jack Colvin; her father and step-mother, Roy and Dorcas Hays; three brothers, Leonard and Marvin Colvin and Chuck (Bud) Hays, and a sister, Ethel Winters. She is survived by one sister, Patricia Vaughn of Lakewood, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Shirley Colvin of Denver and numerous nieces and nephews, including Leonard and Sue Colvin of Forsyth and their family, Bob Colvin of Forsyth, and Tandra Draper and her daughter Kelsey of Miles City. Memorials can be made to the Cancer Society or to the Concordia Lutheran Church of Forsyth. Condolences can be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com. Family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 20, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth with a Prayer Service to follow at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Forsyth. Interment will follow in the Forsyth Cemetery. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth is in charge of these arrangements.
