Tuttle from 4-29-2003 Examiner Enterprise 86, died Sunday evening at her home. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Tuttle will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Dewey Cemetery with Pastor James Haynes of the Fountain of Life Tabernacle in Dewey officiating. Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Honorary casket escorts will be grandsons and will include Jerry Bates, Brandon Olson, James Snook, John Snook, and Chris Tuttle. Mrs. Tuttle was born on October 14, 1916 northeast of Dewey, Oklahoma. Her parents were William H. Cummins Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth (Fox) Cummins. She received her education at Limestone and Highland Park schools. She was married to Chris C. Tuttle on October 6, 1936 at West Siloam Springs, Arkansas. They made their home in the Westville, Ok. Area until moving to California in the mid 1940's, and then returned to the Washington County area in 1951 to make their home. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 6, 1973. Mrs. Tuttle is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Bates and her husband, Vernon of Bartlesville, Bertha Olson and her husband, Bill of Ochelata, Delora Snook and her husband, James of Copan, and Ruby Ellis and her husband, Chuck of Dewey, two sons, Frank and John Tuttle of Copan, one sister, Ruby Werts of Bartlesville, four brothers, Elvin, Alvin, Lester, and William H. Cummins Jr., all of Dewey, 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
