Dorothy Terry

Dorothy Terry, 76, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with 
Dr. Dana Moore officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by 
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Mrs. Terry was born in Bartlesville, Okla. She moved to Amarillo from 
Borger in 1950. She was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Valley Baptist 
Church.

She married Roy Terry in 1939 at Bartlesville.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Roy Terry Jr. of Amarillo; two 
daughters, Wanda Leonard of Roanoke and Myrtle Thorpe of Amarillo; two 
sisters, Letha Griggs and Norma Lee Parrett, both of Bartlesville; nine 
grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 508 W. Colorado. They request memorials be to 
Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center of Amarillo.
