Wimberley Mr. William Kent "Will" Wimberley, 51, Carter Hospice Nurse and husband of Mrs. Donna M. Wimberley died at 10:52 p.m. on Saturday in the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Wimberley will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday in the Memory Chapel of the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence. Father Stephen Austin will be the officiate. Private family final rites will be directed by the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence. Mr. Wimberley will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of the Arnold Moore Funeral Residence where friends may call for visitation. A native of Oklahoma, William Kent Wimberley was born March 29, 1951. He was the son of the late Billie Leroy Wimberley and Mrs. Ruth Irene (Moore) Wimberley. The Wimberley family moved to Tulsa during his early youth. He was reared there attending the public schools and completed his education in Tulsa. He was awarded a scholarship and attended Cambridge University, England. William Wimberley was enlisted in the United States Navy in May of 1969 and received an honorable discharge on July 17, 1969. He began a Produce Distributorship business and worked in several states. He and the former Miss Daphne Davidson were married on June 25, 1986 at Wimberley, Texas and established their home in Kalispell, Montana. He continued his business there and began employment with the Ronan Indian Home Health Care on the tribal reservation. In 1988 he attended the Kalispell Community College and was graduated with an Associates Degree in 1990. Mrs. Daphne Wimberley preceded him in death in Kalispell on March 19, 1990. He returned to Oklahoma in 1991 and made his home at Avant. William Wimberley was a student of the Tri County Technology School in Bartlesville and was graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. He was employed with Nurse Finders and with Carter Hospice. He and the former Ms. Donna Marie Young were married January 7, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada and established their home here. Mr. Wimberley remained active until his death. He was an avid fisherman and trapper. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Donna Marie (Young) Wimberley, of the home; his son, William Sean Wimberley, Tulsa, Okla.; his mother, Mrs. Ruth Irene (Moore) Wimberley, Tulsa, his sister, Mrs. Sue Gerkin and her husband, Dr. Steve Gerkin, Tulsa, his grandmother, Mrs. Elva Bonner, Tulsa; two daughters, Ms. Christine Staton and Ms. Catherine Staton, both of Bartlesville, Okla.; three grandchildren, Lily Staton, Mikayla Staton and Gage Staton, Bartlesville, Okla.
