ROBERT L. YOUNG

OCNS - April 23, 2002 - Mr. Robert Lee Young, 57, retired truck driver, 
longtime resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and husband of Pamela Jo 
Young, died Friday afternoon, April 19, 2002, at St. John Medical Center in 
Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, in the 
sanctuary of the Bethel A.M.E. Church with Reverend Winfred Brown 
officiating.   Services will be under the direction of Neekamp Funeral 
Home, Bartlesville.

Mr. Young was born in St. Louis, Missouri, December 24, 1944 to Ethel and 
Kirk Young.   He graduated from Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan.   
He moved from Lansing to Little Rock, Arkansas where he worked as a truck 
driver before moving to Bartlesville, where he married Pamela Thompson in 
1975.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Pamela Jo of the home; his 
children, Dominic Thompson and Brandon Thompson of Bartlesville, Bradley 
Young of Lansing, Jessica Patrick of Tulsa, Coleen Patrick of Broken Arrow 
and Yvonne Patrick of Tulsa; two brothers, Kirk Young of Lansing and Terry 
(Curley) Young and his wife, Lynette, of Chicago; twenty-one grandchildren, 
thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dave Young.
