Rev. & Mrs. Ben Benefiel
Golden Anniversary Celebrated

Rev. and Mrs Ben Benefiel will be celebrating their 50th Wedding 
Anniversary Sunday at the Lions Club Building, 105 S Oak in Nowata. All 
friends are invited to attend the 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. reception.

Ben Benefiel and Pearl Norton were married in Nowata Sep 26, 1929. Rev. 
Benefiel worked in the oil fields for Bill Uhl for 12 years and then was 
employed for the city of Bartlesville until his retirement.

Rev. and Mrs. Benefiel have three children: Eddie Benefiel and Mrs Harry 
(Evon) Start, both of Nowata; and Rev. Bill Benefiel of Bartlesville. They 
also have 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Rev. Benefiel has recently moved from Jay to Nowata and is pastoring the 
Church of God Free Holiness. The couple's grandchildren will be hosts and 
hostesses at the celebration.
