She was born in Dill, Okla., on June 19, 1918. Mecca was of resident of Clovis, N.M. before moving to Pensacola about four years ago. She is survived by four sons; Paul Z. Barnes and wife, Maureen, of Cantonment, Fla., Tom Barnes and wife, Letha, of Santa Teresa, N.M., Hardy Barnes and wife, Kim, of Carrollton, Texas and Delard Barnes, of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren, Lisha, P.Z., Sean, Kristie and husband, Carsten, Matt and Pam; and four great-grandchildren, Meredith, Summer, Connor and Shea. Inurnment will be the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers' Family Services, Inc., 3454 E. Olive Road, Pensacola, Fla. 32514, 850-453-2321.
