Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church with the Revs. Larry and Carol Crumpton, co-pastors, officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in South Burns Cemetery in Dill City, Okla., with the Rev. Brady Christian officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Bishop was born in Dill City and had lived in the Amarillo area for more than 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of TOPS No. 1018 and Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church. She married Donald Bishop in 1945 at Dill City. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy McNew, in 1973. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mary Ellen Underwood of Amarillo and Gladys Menz of Houston; two sons, Darrell Bishop of Metairie, La., and Donald Lee "Donnie" Bishop of Bridgeport; a sister, Winnie Hall of Lindsey, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the Senior Citizens Center in Dill City Saturday at noon. They request memorials be to Olivia's Angels c/o Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79176-0001; or Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, 1016 S. Roberts, Amarillo, Texas 79102.
