All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Frederick Memorial Cemetery--Frederick OK Lawton Constitution 21 Nov 2003 MANITOU — Funeral for Joe Cozart, 86, Manitou, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Manitou First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bonnie Strong, pastor, officiating. Mr. Cozart died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, in Frederick. Burial will be at Frederick Memorial Cemetery under direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home, Frederick. He was born Nov. 27, 1916, in Cordell to Hugh and Myrtle Shelton Cozart. He attended school at Mountain Park. He married Helen Bandy on Aug. 22, 1942, in Hobart. During the Depression he worked in a CC Camp that built Lake Lugert and dam. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Tillman County Frisco Railroad for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons: Eddie Cozart, and his wife, Maurine, Frederick; and Rick Cozart, and his wife, Sue, Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, Ernest Cozart and his wife, Bernice, Frederick; six grandchildren: Cheryl Sargent and her husband, Gary, Carla Keller, Lance Crook and his wife, Melisa, Dede Stone, Heather Hunt and her husband, Charlie, and Deeann Cozart; and 17 great- grandchildren: Alex, Lealah, Morgan, Baylee, Holly, Skylor, Lulu, Clayton, Jeremy, Chelsea, Stephanie, Victoria, Katherine, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, Abigail and Brandon.
