All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Tipton Cemetery--Tipton OK Lawton Constitution August 21, 2003 Kerry Lee Cryer TIPTON - Funeral for Kerry Lee Cryer, 44, Tipton, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tipton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Marty Sheffield officiating. Mr. Cryer died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003 at a Lubbock, Texas, hospital. Burial will be at Tipton Cemetery under direction of Jackson Funeral Home, Frederick. He was born Aug. 4, 1959, in Clinton to Billy Joe and Gladys Watkins Cryer. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1977. He married Betty Rushin on March 9, 1977, in Vernon, Texas. He was a lineman for Southwest Rural Electric, a volunteer firefighter and a civil defense storm spotter. He was a member of Tipton First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons and two daughters- in-law: Heath and Michelle Cryer and Dusty and Lisa Cryer, all of Tipton; and Brock and Sean Cryer, both of the home; his mother, Tipton; a brother, Danny Cryer and his wife, Connie, Tipton; a sister, Linda Bradley and her husband, Mike, Frederick; two grandchildren: Brandon and Kaylee Cryer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Billy and Dorothy Rushin, Frederick; his great- grandmother-in-law, Myrtle Sheffield; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary and Mark Albrecht, Marie and Brent Whitson and Billy Don Rushin, all of Frederick; and Rodney and Angela Rushin, Duncan; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father; and a brother, Kerry Jo Cryer.
