Damé February 21, 1923 - May 25, 2007 Resident of Danville Joyce Damé died on May 25, 2007 in her Danville home at the age of 84. She was a 13-year resident of Danville. A native of Dill City, OK, she was a graduate of Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada. She was the owner of two dress stores, "Joyce Fashions" in Sacramento for many years, and "Joyce Fashions" in Lafayette. Joyce especially loved painting, gardening and cooking. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Sacramento. She is survived by her son Rick Damé and his wife Jennifer of Danville, two granddaughters Shauna and Carly Damé, one grandson, Jake Damé, one sister, Betty Burton and her husband Don of Port Orchard, WA, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way, Danville, CA 94526. Memorial contributions are preferred to American Cancer Society, 1885 Oak Park Blvd., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
