All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Cemetery--Stinnett TX Charles Arthur Lee Evans STINNETT - Charles Arthur Lee Evans, 76, of Cordell, Okla., and a former Stinnett resident, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Stinnett with the Rev. Orville Rogers, pastor, and the Rev. Paul Jones, pastor of Birch Chapel Assembly of God Church in Spiro, Okla., officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. A native of Beaver County, Okla., Mr. Evans was a longtime resident of this area. During World War II, he served as a submariner in the Navy. He was retired from Phillips Petroleum Refinery and was a member of First Baptist Church in Stinnett. He married Floriene Larkey in 1947 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike Hardin and Lee Hardin, both of Cordell; a daughter, Cheryl Evans Kliewer of Cordell; two brothers, Wayne Evans of Borger and Keith Evans of Stinnett; five grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
