Eva Firestone

DALHART - Eva Firestone, 90, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Assembly of God Church 
with the Rev. Claude Hendricks, pastor, and the Rev. Rusty Hancock, 
pastor of Lincoln Street Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be 
in Memorial Park Cemetery at Dalhart by Hass Funeral Home.

Mrs. Firestone was born in Corn, Okla. She married Leland Firestone 
in 1929. In 1945, they built the Firestone Motel, which they sold in 
1974. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994.

Survivors include a son, Leland Duane Firestone of Antonito, Colo.; 
three daughters, Vera Hancock, Bonnie Layman and Linda Greenstreet, 
all of Dalhart; a sister, Dorothy Scott of Howard, Kan.; 14 
grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
