Erma Brooks Grier

Erma Brooks Grier, 78, of Amarillo, died Friday, April 3, 1998.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ Lutheran Church with 
Scott Herbert, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery 
by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd.

Mrs. Grier was born in Bessie, Okla., and had been an Amarillo 
resident since 1938. She worked for Amarillo Hardware for 15 years. 
She was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church.

She married Robert Grier in 1989 at Amarillo.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David Brooks of Amarillo; three 
brothers, Walter Goeringer and Alex Goeringer, both of Bessie, and 
Connie Goeringer of Rogers, Ark.; two grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to Christ Lutheran Church.
