                       Obit for Jeannie La Fay Myers

Jeannie La Fay Myers

Jeannie LaFay Myers, daughter of Johnnie and Oma Lee (Teel) Maroon, was born
August 26, 1939 at Oklahoma City, OK. She departed this life June 27, 2002 at
the age of 62 years, 10 months and one day.

Jeannie was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. She was united in marriage to
Bill Carl Myers on December 24, 1960 in Reno, Nevada. To this union one son was
born.

She lived in Lawton and Elk City prior to moving to Sentinel Nursing Home. She
attended the First Baptist Church.

Jeannie is preceded in death by a grandson, Ben Myers and husband Bill Carl
Myers in 1999.

She is survived by her mother, Oma Lee Maroon of Vacaville, CA; son, Steven
Bill Myers; brother, T.J. Maroon of Pinole, CA and a grandson Travis Bill
Myers.

Graveside services were held Monday, July 1, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Sentinel
Cemtery with Keith Gillham officiating.
