Services will be at 9 a.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Jim Wallace, pastor of St. Luke Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. today in Cheyenne Cemetery in Cheyenne, Okla., with the Rev. Stephen Clark, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Cheyenne, officiating. Lawanda was born June 29, 1944, in Cordell, Okla., the third child of Doshia Mae Bartlett and Wallace Lee Haigood. As a child, she moved to Guymon, Oklahoma, where she attended school. She married Tracy Blake Blankenship on August 6, 1960. They were blessed with three children, Deborah, Michael and David. She later moved to Amarillo and met and married Allen Larkey. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Karen Haigood. Survivors include her special friend and companion, Billy Wills, of Amarillo; two sons, Michael and David Blankenship, both of Tulsa; a daughter and family, Deborah and husband Covey McGaha, their daughters, Amber McGaha, Christina and husband Kelly Helm and Melanie and Doug Knight. She was especially proud of her great-grandchildren, Kayden, Chase, Preston Helm, Shaylee and Rylee Knight of Alvarado.
