Mathis officiating. Burial was held at 2:00 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home. Margaret was born to Henry D. and Gertrude (Goertzen) Kroeker on January 6, 1914 in Washita County and passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at Corn Heritage Village in Corn. Margaret was raised in Washita County and attended school in Sparta School System. On March 24, 1934, she married George Hamm in Hobart, OK. They were married for 68 years. They lived in Cordell, Corn, and moved to Weatherford for the last year. Margaret taught Sunday School for over 50 years at the First Baptist Church in Cordell. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, writing in her journal, visiting, and witnessing for the Lord. Margaret is survived by her husband, George of their home in Weatherford; one son, Gene Hamm and his wife, Gayle of Weatherford; two brothers, Bill Kroeker and Homer Kroeker and his wife, Pauline both of Lufkin, TX; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, George, LeLand, Arnold, Harry, Vern, and Elmer; and one sister, Irene Westfall.
