Nabors was born Nov. 22, 1914 to Gusta and Rufus Nabors in Cordell, Okla. He was one of six children, Olin (Opal), Wilber (Threesa), Donald (Norma), Leo (Lucille), and Geraldine (Coy). He was the husband of Alice B. Crawford Nabors; father of Betty Louise (Lloyde Burton, Dean Kille), and Cleta Rose (Bill Booth); grandfather of Rodney, Danny, Debbie (Keith Soulliere) Dennis (Feather Booth), and Denise (Mike Silva). He had four great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild. Cliff found the Lord in 1935 at the First Baptist Church in Clinton, Okla. He also found his lovely wife Alice there too. After a short courtship they married and moved to California, where they raised their family. Cliff worked as a carpenter most of his life, building homes in East Richmond Heights and around the Clear Lake area. He retired in 1964 and moved to Clearlake, where he and his wife joined the First Baptist Church. Cliff loved his church family. His hobbies were fishing, traveling, watching sports and visiting. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leo, Donald and Olin; and daughters, Cleta and Betty. He will be greatly missed here on earth, but he is with our Father and his girls now. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the First Baptist Church on the corner of Pearl and Mullen in Clearlake.
