Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Sappington Chapel Cemetery at Cordell, Okla. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors. Mr. Parker was born in Washita County, Okla., and had lived in Borger for 42 years. He worked as an operator for J.M. Huber Carbon Division. He was a veteran of the National Guard Army Reserve and a member of First Baptist Church and Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355. He married Maxine Rhodes in 1955 at Anadarko, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Dudley Wayne Parker of Amarillo; a daughter, Delonda Phillips of Dumas; his mother, Verda Parker of Cordell; a brother, Bill Parker of Oklahoma City; a sister, Charlotte Betche of Cordell; and two grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to First Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
