December 19, 2001 BARNEY J. REIMER The funeral for Barney Joel Reimer, 80, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist, Church. Wade Burleson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funerla Home. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Washita County, near Corn, to John F. and Anna M. Flaming Reimer and died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He graduated from Corn High School in 1939 and worked in a garage. He entered the Army Air Corps in 1942 and served for more than three years. He also served during the Korean War. On Feb. 10, 1945, he married Martha Louise Smith in Enid. She died in 1969. He married Korene Porter on Dec. 26, 1972, in Madill. He worked at Vance Air Force Base, retiring in 1985. He then worked for NAPA Auto Parts. He also worked for the election board. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Enid Garden Club and Garfield Genealogy Society and a life member of American Legion and National Rifle Association. Surviving are his wife, Korene of the home; two daughters, Elaine Zook of Waukomis and Burns Davis of Lincoln, Neb.; three sons, Kory of Mangum, Brady of Lone Grove and Mike of Erick; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Emmanuel Christian School, RSVP or Enid Main Street. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
