Schmidt Funeral services were held Monday, February 17, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Cordell with Reverend Marvin Kehl officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Zichar Cemetery in Cordell. Services were under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. Raymond H. Schmidt was born April 9, 1929 in Cordell, Oklahoma to George and Marie (Gaddert) Schmidt. He passed away February 13, 2003 at the Cordell Memorial Hospital. He was employed with Billy Young Construction Company as a carpenter and was self employed. He loved working puzzles, fishing, and camping out. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of the home; one daughter, Theresa S chmidt of Yukon, Oklahoma; one son, Anthony Schmidt of Cordell, Oklahoma; and one brother, Robert “Bob” Schmidt of Piedmont, Oklahoma.
