Beatrice Smith

CLAUDE - Beatrice "Bea" Smith, 82, died Friday, Feb. 5, 1999.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Church of Christ with Kent 
Watson, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery by 
Schooler Funeral Home-Armstrong Chapel of Claude.

Mrs. Smith was born in Sentinal, Okla. and had lived in Claude since 
1956. She was a rancher and a farmer, a homemaker, and a member of 
the Llano Community Club, and of Church of Christ of Claude.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnard Smith, in 1983 and 
by her daughter, Shirley Johnson, in 1956.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Thomas of Amarillo; a son, J. B. 
Smith of Claude; two sisters, Rea Shirley of Alexandria, La. and Ruth 
Terry of Hobart, Okla.; five grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the Claude Ambulance Fund.
