Roger Parker officiating. Services were under the direction of the Stanley-Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, Oklahoma. Troy was born September 21, 1960, in Andrews, Texas, to Guy Harrison, Jr. and Melba (Denney) Oglesby and passed away December 29, 2002 in Monte Vista, Colorado. Troy moved with his family at an early age to Eakly and graduated from Eakly High School in 1979. He was very active in sports, FFA, and 4-H. He excelled in baseball and basketball and received a scholarship to Murray State College, Durant, and Southwestern Oklahoma State, where he graduated in 1984 with a B.S. degree in Business. He married Danna Rae Teeter on December 20, 1986 in Eakly. The couple made their home in Oklahoma City where Troy worked for Associates Financial Services for 8 years. He also worked for Commercial Credit, Center Home Equity and First Plus. He had been employed with R&K Plumbing in Garland, Texas for the past 18 months. Troy was an outgoing person with lots of interests. He enjoyed the computer, playing Playstation, collecting newspapers, tinkering with tools, reading, gardening, being outdoors, shooting, playing cards, playing baseball, following OU football, being involved in his kids activities, grilling out, music, especially the Eagles. He was a member of the Eakly First United Methodist Church and had been attending the Edmond Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife Danna of the home; two daughters, Jordan and Landre; and a son Parker, all of the home; his parents Guy, Jr. and Melba of Eakly, 2 brothers; Guy, III and his wife Sherie, of Broken Arrow, and Johnny of Dallas, Texas; his in laws, Frank and Donna Rogers, Houston, Texas and Richard and Sue Teeter, Valley View, Texas; brother-in-law Brant Teeter of Florida; sister-in-law Angela Teeter, of Edmond, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his neice and nephews, Jeff Oglesby, Amanda Oglesby, and Lindsay Oglesby, all of Sacremento, California; Travis Oglesby and Taylor Oglesby, both of Broken Arrow and Samantha Teeter and Cashion Teeter, both of Edmond. His uncles and aunts, Bob Smith, of Weatherford, Donna Oglesby, of Eakly; Jerry and Kay Williams, of Eakly; Bob and Gail Gerdeman, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Norma Sturman of Prague; Jim and Vicki Teeter, of Balch Springs, Texas and Darryl and Ginger Hamblin of Clinton. He is also survived by his cousins, Kenda and Rocky Earl, Garland, Texas; Matt and Vicki Oglesby, Woodland, Texas; Todd Oglesby, Eakly; Tracy and Jr. Archer, Clinton and Misty Williams of Weatherford.
