Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Dumas Cemetery with Art Lynch, minister of First Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Tipton was born in Canute, Okla., and had been a longtime resident of Dumas. She retired as a custodian at Green Acres School in Dumas. She was a member of First Street Church of Christ. She married H.C. Tipton in 1977 at Clayton, N.M. Survivors include her husband; a son, Kenneth Weaver of Evanston, Wyo.; three brothers, Owen Morgan of Amarillo, Doyle Morgan of Elk City, Okla., and Bill Morgan of Duke, Okla.; and a sister, Mary Lou Trent of Crystal River, Fla. The family will be at 510 Elm. They request memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second, Dumas, Texas 79029.
