Al was born March 6, 1933, in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Albert B. Watts and Dorothy Irene (Echols) Watts and passed away March 11, 2006 in the VA Hospital, Roseburg, Oregon. The family moved to Arvin, California in March 1940 where Al lived and attended Sunset Elementary School, Kern County Union High School and Arvin High School. Al enlisted in the Army in May 1953 and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington until his discharge in May 1955. Al was preceded in death by his mother and father; stepson, Charles Pease and brother- in-law, Odie Ward. Al married Pat Ridling in 1976, in Reno, Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Pat of Winston, OR; sister, Martha Marie Ward; nephew, Terry Ward and wife, Diane and children of Bakersfield, CA; niece, Michelle Milton and husband, Larry of Modesto, CA; stepsons, Doyle Pease and wife, Debbie and children of Freemont, CA and William Pease and wife, Tami and children, of Winston, OR. An avid athlete, he played in all sports in school. His father taught him at an early age how to work on cars and through the years he worked as a mechanic until his retirement. He and Pat moved to Oregon in the early 1980s and lived in Winston, Oregon near the Umpqua River, a great outdoors area which he loved. Albert B.
