Weldon, Melba P.

Melba P. Weldon, 72, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003 at Fort Worth. 
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at College Hill church of Christ. Burial: 1 
p.m. Saturday at North Burns Cemetery, Burns Flat, OK. Visitation: 6 
to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Melba was born on 
Jan. 10, 1931 in Foss, OK. She worked as a bookkeeper for 27 years 
and later was secretary at College Hill Church of Christ. Survivors: 
husband of 52 years, Jack G. Weldon of N. Richland Hills; daughters; 
Terri Hayes and husband, Lewis of Oklahoma City and Jane O'Pry and 
husband, Shannon of Lubbock; grandson, Brady O'Pry; sister, Lavona R. 
Carter and husband, Mark of Waco; sisters-in-law, Kay Sheid and 
husband, Carol of Newkirk, OK, and Betty Brown and husband, Tom of 
Searcy, AR.; a host of other loving family members and friends. Mount
