Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. and Mrs. Jerald Middaugh, pastors of Southlawn Assembly of God in Amarillo, officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Gageby Cemetery with the Rev. Alberta Helton, pastor of the Reydon Community Church, officiating. Mr. Wyant was born in Colony, Okla., and moved to the Briscoe area in the early 1940s. An Army veteran, he served in the Korean War. He attended the New Life Assembly of God Church in Pampa and was a former member of the Top O'Texas Rodeo board of directors. For 13 years, Mr. Wyant worked for the Hobart Ranch near Canadian, then worked for the Albert "Tennie" Reynolds ranch north of Pampa. For the past 10 years, he worked for the Andrew Smith Ranch. He married Earlene Frost in 1960 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Sam Wyant and Johnnie Wyant, both of Pampa; four brothers, Earl Wyant of Boone, Colo., Walter Wyant of Newport, Ore., Benny Wyant of Pampa and Eugene Wyant of Sterling, Colo.; two sisters, Leona Miller of Eakly, Okla., and Jean Meadows of Wheeler; and nine grandchildren.
