Marvin Dean Benson, 68, Odessa, Texas

Marvin Dean Benson, 68, son of the late Vernon Henry and Myrtle Mae 
(Henderson) Benson, was born Sept. 10, 1936, in Woods County, Oklahoma, 
and passed away Dec. 31, 2004, at Odessa, Texas.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Lee 
Benson, Roger Benson, and Donald Gene Benson.

Dean is survived by his wife, Connie, of Odessa, Texas; five brothers, 
James Benson and his wife, Gerry, of Viola, Kan., Derrell Benson and his 
wife, Jean of Gravette, Ark., Delbert Benson and his wife, Loretta, of 
Tulsa, Charles Benson of North Las Vegas, Nev., and Bill Benson and his 
wife, Arleen, of Fairview; two sisters, Gayle Farnsworth and her husband, 
Geoff, of Crofton, Md., and Mary Lou Glasco and her husband, Duane, of 
Amarillo, Texas; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Jan. 4 at the Star Cemetery west of 
Alva with Rev. Rich Redinger officiating. Interment is under the direction 
of Marshall Funeral Home of Waynoka.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Elks 
Lodge #1348 in Lubbock, Texas.
