All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Waynoka Municipal Cemetery--Waynoka OK Alva Review Courier 30 Mar 2005 Lester Allen Barber, 69, Shattuck Lester Allen Barber, son of the late William Daniel and Viola Pearl (Barber) Barber, was born February 24, 1936, in Alfalfa County, Oklahoma, and passed away March 28, 2005, at Shattuck, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 4 days. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; one son, Rocky Barber; one daughter, Karen Sherfey; and one brother, Clifford Barber. Lester is survived by three sons, Rex Barber and his wife, Vickie, of Shattuck, Rusty Barber and his wife, Anessa, of Shattuck, Ricky Barber of Oakley, Idaho; three daughters, Cherrie Foreman and her husband, Larry, of Watson, Illinois, Debbie Barber of Oakley, Idaho, and Mary V. Barber of Oakley, Idaho; one step son, Harold Murray and his wife, Lanell, of Woodward; and three step daughters, Teresa Lee of Woodward, Louise Mosely and her husband, Gary, of Sayre, Oklahoma, and Joyce Everrett of Arnass Pass, Texas. Also surviving are one brother, Alvin H. Barber and his wife, Iva, of Shattuck; five sisters, Luella Lee and her husband, Jimmy, of Olathe, Kansas, Mildred Moore of Blackwell, Rozella Lingle and her husband, Alvin, of Stockton, Missouri, Velma Dittmar and her husband, Roy, of Commerce, Texas, and Lillie Burnidge and her husband, Roger, of Alva; 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005, at the Waynoka Church of God with Rev. Roy Dittmar officiating. Interment will be in the Waynoka Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
