Alva Review Courier 05 Feb 2004 Genevieve J. Barrett, 83, Alva Rosary services for Genevieve J. Barrett, 83, formerly of Alva, will be at 6 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2004, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, and funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer, with Msgr. Kevin Hand, pastor, officiating. Burial follows in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, Pampa, Texas. Genevieve was born June 19, 1920 on a large farm near Canute, Oklahoma, to George O. & Ursula Orf Toelle. She died Feb. 3, 2004 in Wichita, Kan. Survivors include three Sons: Edward L. Barrett, Jr., of Rowlett, Texas, Randy Barrett of White Deer, Texas, and George Barrett of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters: Yvonne Stearns of Guys Mill, Penn., Shirley Whisman of Wichita, Kan., and Carolyn Snyder of Panhandle, Texas; 14 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren. One Brother, Charles Toelle, one sister: Sr. Mary Clotilda, Sister of Mercy. three daughters-in-Law and three sons-in-Law.
