All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Municipal Cemetery--Alva OK Alva Review Courier 04 Feb 2004 Edith Florence Bratcher, 85, Alva Edith Florence Bratcher, 85, daughter of the late Marvin and Mae (Rose) Eckles, was born Feb. 13, 1918, in Woods County, Oklahoma, and passed away Feb. 1, 2004, at Beadles Nursing Home in Alva. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Allen Bratcher; two sisters, Ruby Pheffer and Margaret Lewis; one brother, Lester Eckles; and one granddaughter, Shelly Kletke. Edith is survived by one son, Bobby Bratcher and his wife, Julia, of Corpus Christi, Texas; three daughters, Wanda Richardson and her husband, Kenneth, of Pratt, Kan., LaDonna Weigand and her husband, Carl, of Alva, and Pat Smith and her husband, Larry, of Alva; six grandchildren, Marsha Trammel and her husband, Joe, of Talequah, Mike Weigand and his wife, Coleen, of Ft. Collins, Colo., Michelle Nelson and her husband, Kip, of Enid, Kathy Graf and her husband, Victor, of Pratt, Kan., Steven Richardson of Larned, Kan., and Gaynelle Goodrich of Derby, Kan.; one brother, Donald Eckles of Alva; 12 great grandchildren; one great grandchild; one great-great grandchild; other relatives and many special friends. Visitation with family and friends will be 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at the Alva First Baptist Church with Dr. Greg Hook officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
