All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Midway Cemetery--Forgan OK Alva Review Courier 3 Aug 2005 Jocile Brown, 89, Alva Memorial Services for Jocile Brown, 89, will be held at the Alva First Baptist Church, Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 7 p.m. with Dr. Greg Hook, Pastor, and Reverend Willie Anderson, Pastor New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, Perry, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Midway Cemetery, Forgan, Oklahoma. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may by made online at www.whartonfuneralchapel.com. Jocile, daughter of Gertrude (Jones) and Don Wesley Grimwood was born near Beaver City in Beaver County, Okla., on July 4, 1916. She passed away at the Enid Integris Bass Baptist Health Center on July 31, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and a brother Col. Ret. Don Milford Grimwood. Jocile is survived by her son Reverend Richard (Associate Pastor of the Perry New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church) and his fiance Dorothy Sipe of Stillwater; her daughter-in-law Wilberta Joy Brown of Alva; six step- grandchildren; 27 step-great grandchildren including Christina Johnston, Bo Jenkins, and Matt Jenkins, who had lived with her at one time; 27 step- great, great grandchildren; a sister Elva George of Enid, 4 nieces and 4 nephews; other relatives and friends. Jocile had requested that her body be donated to the Oklahoma Health and Science as was her mother-in-law.
