George W. Dyer, 98, Freedom

Funeral Services for George W. Dyer, 98, will be held at the Wharton 
Funeral Chapel Saturday, January 24,2004, at 2 p.m. with Reverend 
Carolyn Murrow, pastor Freedom United Methodist Church and Reverend 
Nick Shaffer, pastor Alva Friends Church, officiating. Interment 
follows in the Freedom Cemetery. Wharton Funeral Chapel is in charge 
of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Mae Bush, 
Mable Robinson, and Ada Taylor; and two half-brothers: Henry Dyer and 
Charles Dyer; also several nieces and nephews.

George is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Contributions may be made in his memory to the Freedom Ambulance and 
Fire Department.
