Alva Courier Review 21 Nov 2003 John Max (Bus) Drake, 85, Alva Besides his parents he is preceded by one infant brother, Lester Drake; one sister, Anna Wilson; his step-father, Joe Reed; and one daughter-in- law, Merrily McCracken Drake. Bus is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; three sons and their wives, Bob and Sandra Drake of Kiowa, Kan., John and Clare Drake of Mullan, Idaho, and Bruce and Hester Drake of Texas City, Texas; and one daughter and her husband, Sheila and Steve Lehr of Alva. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Tad Drake and his wife, Karen, Randy Drake and his wife, Shelly, Nathan Drake and his wife, Robin, Bobby Drake and his wife, Julie, Danielle Jewell and her husband, Justin, David Drake and his wife, Stephanie, Shannon Lehr and his wife, Shonda, Daphne Rathgeber and her husband Brad, Asheley Salas and her husband, Michael, Shane Lehr and his wife, Andrea, Shawn Lehr and Shay Lehr; sixteen great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Dec. 22 at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Weegie Williams, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Alva officiating. Interment will be in the Union Center Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
