Davena Kaye Dryden, 59, Alva

Davena Kaye Dryden was born July 30, 1946 to Dave and Velta Dryden. Davena 
was raised in the Vici area and attended school at Vici Public Schools 
graduating with the class of 1964. After graduating, Davena made her home 
in the states of Wyoming, New Mexico and Arkansas, before returning to 
Oklahoma.

Davena was preceded in death by her daughter, Melanie Adele Brosh; her 
parents, Dave and Velta Dryden; two sisters, Velda (Judy) Pauls and 
Deloris Hutchins; a niece, Marla Kaye Pauls; and a nephew, Peter Pauls.

She is survived by three daughters: Melodie Evon Callaway of Guymon, 
Melissa Patrice Kimball of Edgewood, N.M., Johna Kaye Lockhart of Alva; 
one son, Joseph Chesley Brosh of Alva; two brothers, Frank Walter Dryden 
of Oklahoma City and Richard Ray Dryden of Vici; two sisters, Phyllis 
Hixon of Woodward and Patricia Ann Clements of Alva; four grandchildren, 
four great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other 
family and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2005, in the First Christian 
Church, Vici, Oklahoma. Services arranged by Shaw Funeral Home, Vici.
