All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery--Fresno CA Fiuren, Dahlia Aline DAHLIA ALINE FIUREN Dahlia, known by her nickname of "Sally", passed away on the evening of Monday, November 6, 2006, in Lake Forest, California. Sally was born in Woods County, Oklahoma on October 10, 1906. She was the oldest of five children born to Albert Wimer and Ellen Kellerman. Sally married Herman Grau in 1926, and they had a son named Milton. Herman died in 1930, and several families moved together on Vasser Street. Sally worked as a waitress. Sally married Lester Fiuren in 1935 and they had a daughter named Carole. After Lester's death in 1960, Sally went to Cosmetology school and became a beauty operator. She had her own beauty shop on Olive Ave. in Fresno for many years. She recently celebrated her 100th birthday with relatives in Fresno at a family reunion. She lived at Fresno Senior Citizens Village for many years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Grau and Lester Fiuren; sisters, Ida Bearl Wimer and Opal Orabanec; and brother, Percy Wimer. Sally is survived by her son, Milton Grau and his wife Betty of San Luis Obispo, California; her daughter, Carole Blanscet and her husband Raymond of Tustin, Caliornia; her brother, Rex Wimer of Folsom, California; her grandchildren, Susan and her husband David of Loomis, California, Michael Grau and his wife Ann of San Jose, California, Dave Blanscet and his wife Leslie of Escondido, California, Jim Blanscet and his wife Lisa of Murrieta, California, Andy Blanscet and his wife Michele of Laguna Hills, California, and Laurie Blanscet and her husband John Grant of Temecula, California; her great-grandchildren, Eric Volkman and his wife Tracy, Eric Grau, Adam Grau, Cassie Blanscet, Nancy Blanscet, Hannah Blanscet, Brittany Blanscet, Tyler Blanscet, Michael Blanscet, Katie Blanscet and Chance Blanscet; and numerous other close relatives. Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday, November 13, 2006, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the John N. Lisle Chapel of Lisle Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Belmont Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Arthritis Foundation.
